Improvements and new functions in QuickBooks 2019

QuickBooks Desktop edition has devised improvements and new functions to further improve the desktop 
version. QuickBooks 2019 focuses on the workflow process and greater functionality. Some of the important

Improved functions and improvements to QuickBooks 2019 are listed below:

Keep track of sick and vacation time

This option is available with an "Active Payroll subscription." It is always difficult to keep track of vacation and sick time

There is no warning if your employee has already used too much sick time in excess.

The payslip now has a new format to follow the sick. The tracker shows Current-Build, Used and Available. 
It gives the employee a clear picture of the number of leaves available.

Improved inventory

Many times, We often work in the inventory and we have a problem: there is a discrepancy between the balance and 
the inventory overview. By default, you will not see "inactive items" in the inventory Item summary. The 'inventory total', 
however, would contain the inactive items as they appear on the balance sheet. It becomes difficult to follow this.

The improved Inventory Enhancement function ensures that when you mark an inventory item as 'Inactive', 
but it still has a value or quantity to hand, an error message appears that displays this.

In addition, the new function in the ‘Inventory Valuation Summary Report’ displays the items that you have "Inactivated".

Improved invoice tracker

This feature is already present in QuickBooks Online and is now available in QuickBooks Desktop.

• Offers you a consolidated snapshot - Click on "History" for one snapshot and view data used on multiple screens.
• Email Invoice status tracker - You can know when the customer has viewed the invoice and you can do a follow up accordingly.

Credit Transfer for Customers and Jobs

The function helps to apply credit "Memos" in all jobs. Previously, the user had to create a "Credit Note" for a specific job to be applied.

complete this task. The account is "Inactive and zeroes out”.

A Check to Pay Bill

The function is useful when a customer writes "checks" and skips the "Pay Bill’ part of QuickBooks. The function will solve the problem 
of double-spending using checks and bills for the same expense.

QuickBooks requests and orders to associate the check with an "open invoice". Then, when you click "Go to pay bills", a screen with 
open invoices from that provider is displayed. The function automatically filters the ‘one vendor.’

Easy update

It is quite easy to update in the new edition. Activate your QuickBooks desktop account. Once this is done, go to "select an account for 
activation" and then press OK. You will get to the window: "Update that it is a QuickBooks Desktop Company file" and update it.

Easy Moving QuickBooks to a Different Computer

• Go to file
• Search utilities
• See "Move QuickBooks to Another Computer" option.

• Press the option- Continue

Backup your data file

The QuickBooks 2019 edition has presented improved improvements in the "Data protection" category.

The new edition has improved messaging, allowing customers to configure and backup their data. If there is any failure in the backup, 
a quick email will be sent. To make a backup of the data:

• Go to the home screen
• You should see  "Backup Status" .
• Choose the "Online" option here
• Click on the "Intuit data protection" hyperlink.
• Go through a series of screens and set up an "Online Backup".
• Choose the correct subscription that matches your license.
• Select files for backup.
• Choose other "critical files" on your desktop.
• Now select the time for automatic backup
• Select the option for when you want to be notified by "email".
• Everything ready, you will receive an email

Condense the data file

Delete the audit trail and keep all the history or delete certain transactions while deleting the history.

Be careful when executing this step or even seek help from a third-party service provider to safely reduce the file size.

The enhanced IIF import function

With the new IIF import function, you do not need to verify the IIF imports manually. There will be a report showing the fault. In addition, 
"default" accounts will not be created. The enhanced version uses the SDK interface "to insert data. This interface is equipped with the

Sales order worksheets have the "batch feature along with shipping and package".
